[00:00:02] Welcome to the Making of youf. I'm Alexandria, founder of the Mastery Project, and you'd Transformation Hub. And this podcast is dedicated to the whys and ways to transform the mundane into the magical, doable into enjoyable, successful and purposeful, all while having fun becoming the architect of your own life.
[00:00:24] Okay, so shout out to audience. Thank you very much for requesting this subject. Today we're covering five whys. Monarchy needs to change.
[00:00:35] Okay. And I'll just do a quick shout out to new listeners in Vietnam, in Venezuela and also hello to my regulars. Yes, hello, United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong and all the others that I can't remember at the moment. Oh, Germany and Holland. Yes, thank you very much and again, thank you for your continued support.
[00:01:01] Right, my number one is.
[00:01:04] Well, whenever you get any type of institution, any part of the fabric of tradition and something that of course has been investing in itself and its presence and its contributions for a long period, then you're going to get a big, energetic attachment footprint.
[00:01:28] So, yes, any institution, for example, the British monarchy has been going for about a thousand years, so you can imagine that is attachments to having a king or a queen for many, many years. So it's attachment upon attachment.
[00:01:47] And as a result, you are going to have quite a lot of pressure on, on the existing institution because it was built in the old paradigm. So the foundation is definitely in the passing energy, the energy that's being questioned, the energy that's being purified, that's being clarified. And in many respects, in our passing paradigm transition, we've got a lot of recycling or transmutation.
[00:02:20] So monarchy isn't necessarily under attack from external per se, it's just its whole fabric, energetically is going to need to be a lot more now and deal with the attachments, deal with that sense of attempting to live to some degree or other in the past. So we know there's a kind of trade off with attachment.
[00:02:49] So sometimes we go, oh, it's nice to have nostalgia, it's nice to think about how it used to be and all the fun times and all the building memories and all of that recognition of the qualities and the great experience that we've had in our lives. But when we bring that into the now, that's actually supporting our now energy. It's an act of appreciation, an act of learning, and also an act of understanding the wisdoms perhaps, and what we were doing in the past and how much we changed. So for the monarchy, if it can do this, then it's going to be able to move much more and concentrate and focus its energy in the new paradigm and be able to let go. But we're going to have that constant issue between what is tradition, what is ceremony and what is actually reinforcing the elements of, of the monarchy that are going to move forward.
[00:03:54] So the old paradigm was built on a foundation of power over a degree of fear or dominance. It was built on money and resources and the accumulation of those. And also it was built on the control of information and knowledge. So we do have now a situation with the new paradigm that we're going to be looking very much more about in empowerment. So you know me, I talk about heart, mind alignment and about co creativity and that we're all in this together. Doesn't matter whether it's an institution, an individual, a community, we're all contributing something. And so in the new paradigm there is that energetic give and take. Now when you have institutions that have been going for many, many years, then they're give and take can be somewhat shabby, it can be living in the past about what they think they should be doing or it can literally be rather stagnant or find that flow and that exchange a really difficult situation.
[00:05:02] So with empowerment we've also got immaterial and material resources today that are considered with potentially in the new paradigm and equal value.
[00:05:14] So what we believe, what we've placed our trust in, what we are going to move forward as a vision ideas, is just as important as the money that we spend, the energy that we expend in order to create our reality.
[00:05:34] So also we're not going to be looking exclusively at knowledge, we're going to be looking at wisdom. All right. It's not going to be enough to know. You're going to need to understand and apply.
[00:05:45] So all of this transition out of the old paradigm into the new is going to be felt by any institution. And can a big institution or a long standing institution move as quickly for example, as an individual or a group of people of like hearted and like minded community?
[00:06:04] Probably not. But it is going to be highlighting the excess baggage, the extremes and also the waste and the issues about what is a truly successful monarchy.
[00:06:21] So my number one is, wow, there is a lot of excess baggage, there's a lot of energy hanging around attached to past successes. And the monarch is going to need to really look through that, sort out what's staying, what's going on and be honest about how it's behaved in the past to the best of its ability.
[00:06:48] Okay, Number two. Well, we've also got another transition Energetically.
[00:06:53] Now, monarchy generally is hereditary, so it's one family line. We've seen a bit of a shift, particularly with European monarchies, that they're now considering that women are as equal as men.
[00:07:10] So if a boy is born, then his brother would not necessarily get to be second in line to the throne if there is a daughter born in between.
[00:07:22] So this in itself is the equality, if you like, the honouring of men and women together.
[00:07:29] So that is a step forward energetically for any particular institution. But when we've got hereditary, we know there's always going to be an issue when it comes to qualifications, because you're born into the biggest qualification, which is the job. You don't actually have to necessarily have any particular skills because it's yours by birthright.
[00:07:55] So my number two is how does the monarchy need to change? Well, I think the monarchy needs, as it is doing in a lot of different countries, the monarchy needs to start contributing a skill, equality and get into the new paradigm understandings which are not hereditary power or power by entitlement, but meritocracy. So what can you do? How can you earn respect, how can you be of service, how can you contribute personal values and what have you got to offer in support of, of the institution that you are the head of?
[00:08:42] So before, obviously, monarchy sort of went well on top of the pile. I don't really have to try. But now, definitely in the new paradigm transition, that is going to be a major issue. Now. We're already seeing it with, of course, the scandals and the continued requirement to clarify where there have been abuses of power, where there's been excessive waste, entitlement kind of behaviours that would imply absolute power or that the person believes that they're above the law.
[00:09:19] So all of these qualities are definitely the renegotiation of power and empowerment. And also, you know me, I talk about the heart and mind aligning and when they're aligned together in balance, then you're going to have a relatively small input from aspects like egocentricity, selfishness, someone who goes, I'm the bee's knees and basically no one else matters.
[00:09:49] So in the transition to meritocracy, you're going to see that huge egos, narcissistic behavior, egocentric extremes, they aren't going to go down very well at all. And also they're going to become more and more obvious and more considered as a burden rather than as an asset. And if I use the British royal family as an example, there has been quite a lot said, of course, about Andrew Formerly known as Prince. I've got an episode on that if you want to listen to that one too.
[00:10:28] And about Andrew literally living in a different reality. He's so egocentric, he cannot understand in the greater sort of broad brushstrokes of his life where he actually went wrong. And so a lot of his considerations and his assessments and perspectives are so deeply rooted in the passing paradigm, he can't actually see the degree of entitlement which has been clouding much of his decision making throughout his life.
[00:11:08] So my number two is, yes, we're going to swap from hereditary power to meritocracy. And that is another big shift that I do believe in a lot of the monarchies in Europe and globally. For example, we've got a monarchy in Bhutan and they're looking at tourism at the moment. They're looking at how to allow the country to open up because it's been very private previously, how they can do that without altering the quality of life and how the people would benefit and how the country would benefit.
[00:11:42] So, yes, it is definitely that many more of monarchies are looking at how they're going to literally earn a wage, how they're going to transform their contribution so they don't look like narcissistic or egocentric dinosaurs.
[00:12:00] But as a result, because we've got the combination as well, which I'm going to be speaking about in the last couple of points, we've got a leadership highlight this year because we've got Saturn in Aries and that is always going to put leadership, the quality of leadership, control issues, abuse of power. It's going to put all of that stuff center stage. And so we're going to need to understand from monarchies how they want to wield their influence and their power. But also we're going to see a lot of scraping at the bottom of the barrel, to be honest, because Saturn in Aries can be quite brutal and it's going to be sweeping change in many respects that's going to be demanded because of the Aries integrity, clarity and wanting things to be sort of purified and a clean slate.
[00:12:57] So that can again cause a huge sort of mini earthquakes for institutions because over time and with the lineage element, you've got people repetitively incarnating into a established behavior which can be extremely difficult to change.
[00:13:19] So, yeah, I'm afraid we are probably going to see some of the lowest of the low aspects simply because of Saturn in Aries, wanting to get to the bottom of everything.
[00:13:32] So that's my number two hereditary power moving to meritocracy.
[00:13:38] Now, number three, a lot of people who are republican, all right, who don't want any monarchy at all, they're probably going to go, just get rid of them. Saturn in Aries have a clean sweep, literally by finishing the monarchy. Well, I think what you are going to face there is a kind of reverse aspect which I want to talk about in number three, which is that a lot of people have particular perceptions of what is part of the fabric of a nation.
[00:14:10] So my number three is, yes, Saturn in Aries challenges the quality of the monarchy, their reputation, their integrity and the values of that they follow.
[00:14:20] But it also can be a kind of reverse aspect of attachment, if you will, or a sense of wanting to keep the monarchy because it can be moulded or it can start afresh and it can go back to the roots of honor and care of the nation.
[00:14:45] So I personally believe you've got to look always what the people want. And with established institutions, you're not necessarily going to have people say, we want to get rid of them immediately. Even if it gets really bad.
[00:15:01] It can be that people are just going to say reduced powers, reduced income, and generally want to have rather that face of a king or a queen rather than more politics, to be honest, and a president that again, is very open to political abuse or influence or not working for the common good or for the good of the people.
[00:15:29] So my number three is, will there be a complete sort of abolition called for? Well, I think that is a choice. It is, is of course up to individual opinion, but I don't actually see that Saturn in Aries would necessarily abolish the monarchy in the next couple of years. I don't think it's that bad.
[00:15:52] But what I do see is because of the nature of the sort of ongoing churning that you get when Saturn's in Aries, which is all about getting to the bottom of things, really looking at a deep and profound clarity that these particular scandals are going to not go away and they are going to be churned and it is going to be a long process to find out what is actually happening.
[00:16:23] So my number three is, no, I don't think the monarchy is going to be abolished, but I do believe that that sort of nature of what is the national identity, what does a king or a queen champion in sort of mythical and magical memories of how a nation has developed or what a nation, what makes a nation uniquely itself, those are going to be massively under discussion. And of course a function of the personality of the king or queen. So, of course, William being next in in line, do I think that with Saturn in Aries that Charles could abdicate? He has said strongly he would never abdicate, that it was until death in his perception that the monarchy should reign. But I strongly believe that he will be basically forced to abdicate and that William will want that, because that's the way William believes the monarchy can reform and successfully make the transition into rebuilding its foundation in the new paradigm. Will that work or not?
[00:17:33] I leave it to the people to decide in that particular situation for the British. But also I do believe all of us will not be potentially letting go, if you like, from allowing sort of institutions to get away with things. This is not going to be the way of things.
[00:17:54] On top of that, we've got Neptune in Aries, and Neptune in Aries wants very much to have a degree of emotional purity, a degree of emotional clarity and fulfillment. And it is one that is going to be led through quite tumultuous and persistent transitions and transformations.
[00:18:16] Okay, so number four, well, what else does the monarchy need to do? Well, if it's going to have little mini earthquakes in its foundation, I think that in the positive sense, we've also got a movement here of Uranus out of Taurus. All right? Taurus is an earth sign. Taurus is all about stability. It's all about reform and transformation in institutions. And we have seen a lot of turmoil with governments and with different political sort of swings of the pendulum.
[00:18:50] So with Uranus going into Gemini, this is going to bring back quite an idealistic flavor, a sense of reality, reunion, wanting to bring the best into now. But it's also going to, again, be challenging the monarchy to simplify and to build from the ground up. So again, because London is also considered to have Gemini qualities, it's going to move in all directions in the energy of the royal family of the Square Mile, all right? Their connections with finance and with the markets and with investments and with their wealth.
[00:19:36] So my number four is, yes, everything's going to rebalance, going to rebalance in, to the center, out of extremes. But that is potentially in that simplification, going to cause a lot of discussions about value and about who actually gets to invest that value, where and are they worth it. And that particular sort of element of worthiness, relevance and resonance is not going to go away, that particular discussion.
[00:20:09] Okay, so my last point today, number five, what is the breaking point? Well, for me, in the next two years, the pivot, if you like, is about authentic leadership. And we're going to be Needing to see monarchies not getting political, but definitely championing authentic values that their subjects, their peoples can resonate with. And to be putting a huge amount of effort in clarifying their alignment, their balance point, what they want to achieve and the kind of mast, if you like, in that particular service that the monarchy does as an example of the individuality of a nation is to say, hey, we need to be those values and authentically work to achieve that. And gosh, that is going to be a huge shift in itself. It's going to be helped by Saturn in Aries because Saturn Aries wants quality leadership.
[00:21:14] It's going to be helped by Neptune in Aries because that is about the ending of the frustration or the shilly shallying between how old institutions fudge things and you know, sort of sweep it under the carpet. But it is going to be a transition that I think no one will really see how that could unfold. It's just going to be more and more spontaneous and sort of like a snowball, get on a roll and absorb a lot of the polarities, a lot of the extremes as that snowball sort of passes by and purifies. And again, I don't believe that with all of the fire in the zodiac that we're not going to see a huge amount of of scandal coming to the surface.
[00:22:06] I personally am on the fence. I'm not anti the monarchy.
[00:22:11] I don't as like a lot of people I wouldn't want a republic personally. But do I believe that monarchy needs to reform? Yes, most certainly. And realign with the true nature and the true values that are most important for the people.
[00:22:26] Alrighty. Well, I hope that you like this content today and it's sort of got you thinking about what you might like your monarchy if you do have one to the values for them to embrace and also the way that leadership in general supports your nation or supports the values that you believe a new paradigm and going to help us all moving forward.
