[00:00:03] Welcome to the Making of youf. I'm Alexandria, the founder of youf Transformation Hub and the Mastery Project. And now this podcast. The series is dedicated to harnessing your unique potential, the tools and wisdoms for purpose and personal empowerment, and of course, having fun becoming the architect of your own life.
[00:00:24] Okay, so let's get into it. This is episode 16, Five Ways. The journey is always more significant than the final destination. Now, in all processes of personal development and spiritual evolution, we always talk about a journey rather than a destination. And so the first reason, number one, that that's the case, and it is very important for us to understand the journey is because the journey has the distinct phases that we need to undergo in order to be able to arrive where we envisage or the expansion that we'd like to be part of. Why is this? Well, transformation is linked, of course, to our capacity and readiness to change. All right, so if we imagine a long corridor, okay, so imagine that corridor, and the minute you choose to change, you're choosing to walk down the corridor. All right? Now, first and foremost, change as we know can have a certain sort of momentum quality about it. So you can start out with little changes and those little changes start to gain momentum. Now this is quite key in any transformation process and journey because that momentum enables us to build up a certain amount of energy and to shift our frequency potentially through our choices, our, our open heartedness, open mindedness, through our heart, mind alignment that you hear me talk about a lot on this podcast. And as we're doing that, we're building our capacitance, literally a bit like a capacitor, in order then to get through the resistance that we might have to actually embracing the next big step on our journey, which is initiation. So when we sort of wend our way down the corridor through the small but regular changes, we're sending out that message that we're not living inside the cube. We're prepared to risk, we're prepared to consider other options and alternatives to the point where our energy frequency raises and then we come to a door. Now, sometimes with change, we build up such momentum, we kind of break the door down, change sheer weight of energy, or we sort of find ourselves leaping through the door, or even the door opens as soon as we arrive at that point in our life. So initiation is the next step after we've chosen change. And that initiation comes in, gosh, all shapes and sizes. It can be anything to everything, to nothing. It's unique to all of us. And the reason is our heart really wants to help us, all right? And the greater universe wants to help us. So to help us, we need to often have an initiation. We don't know anything about.
[00:03:26] Sounds weird, but it's us choosing to be brave, choosing us to be confident and capable in the unknown. And that's why it can appear like literally opening a door into a completely different world.
[00:03:42] So once we've got through change into initiation and got the other side of that door, door, that's when we get to choose at a higher frequency to create a foundation of authentic transformation. So that's going to be moving energy at a different frequency. We're going to be choosing differently. We're going to be more effective, potentially in our creative changes. And the transformation will then become apparent to us in the external. So we're highly likely to say, wow, everyone's attitude's changed, or the landscape's changed, or I got a new job, or I move cities. A physical change.
[00:04:25] As a result, we're going to. As the old adage of change always is, if you want to experience change, start with yourself. So then the two worlds, our inner world and our outer world, will mirror one another and will be in alignment because they'll be reflecting to us the transformation that we've made. So transformation is the big step after initiation in the sense that we're entertaining a completely different foundation. And as you can see from what I've been talking about, building our capacitance for change, building our openness step by step, that we do need a process in order to digest the change. So it's a little bit of like the alchemy of old, when people have talked very much about different chemical processes, different digesting elements or distillations involved. It's the same with our personal immaterial change journey, that we need different phases in order to digest the change and hopefully enjoy it. And consciously, as much as we can get into a place where we can understand why we arrived there, even though it might have been miraculous, it might have been a little bit scary, and a lot of. A lot of different emotional responses to how we arrived there. So the journey is helping us digest the change, the initiation and the transformation. And now on our planet, I think we could all say, what on earth is going on on a regular basis? Because simply that there is a huge amount of change occurring. And it's almost like we've gone through the door of initiation and now we're living permanently in a foundation of transformation. Sometimes we can perhaps feel a little bit out of alignment or a little Bit scared of what's all going on around us. Other times, we can feel very consciously in alignment and feeling like we're riding the wave of that particular innovation or transformation.
[00:06:38] So what we're undergoing now is a paradigm shift, all right? And that shift is definitely going to be the journey then, from transformation into evolution.
[00:06:51] So that is incredibly exciting and it's an incredibly wondrous and amazing time to be on the planet. But as we can also see as well, there is potentially a lot of disruption, a lot of ideological aspects, a lot of rebalancing occurring, and also people just questioning constantly and needing to go to their hearts for the answer.
[00:07:18] So, yes, it's a journey because, number one, we need these different phases of change in order to digest that full cycle. Even if we don't go from transformation to evolution, we might just want to sit in the transformed zone. All right? I don't think actually anyone is going to do that this lifetime for long periods of time, because basically the pressure to evolve is going to be there in our world. So if we aren't going to perhaps get on the wave, we may very well be dragged forward by it. Because this transformation, this evolution on our planet is very much between ourselves and the planet. And it is something that, that is destined in, in my work and deeply purposeful at this time for us to be able to learn to live differently and transform and evolve accordingly for a much more fulfilled, purposeful, meaningful, and unconditionally loving life.
[00:08:23] So, number two, well, believe it or not, we might think ourselves quite strong and robust, but on an energetic level, our physical form is actually the most fragile part of us. So why am I saying that? That sounds ridiculous? Well, energy that you can't see is still there. We know that just because you can't see it doesn't mean to say it's not real. And that energy is a lot more flexible because it has a waveform or it has an energy form or a matrix that can realign. And there's a degree of, shall we say, chaosity about it, but it has beautiful cycles and natural patterning that can adapt. Now, our materiality, our physical bodies and our physical sense of self, it's only one of our expressions of ourselves. We bring our awareness to be physical and to understand this amazing journey in a physical body. But the physicality, as a result, the energy slowed down and so the frequency isn't as high as the immaterial energy that is all around us. So as a result, our materiality can take some moments to adapt to change. And that's again, why we need the journey rather than an instantaneous shift.
[00:09:48] Why do I say that? Well, if we have a instantaneous shift, then that is going to ask that we are very now we are 100% in alignment with our heart and mind, and that our material reality is very much at that balance point too. Now, I'm not saying it's not possible, but for a lot of us, we're kind of not necessarily aligned in the best way with now all of the time. All right? So a journey is a lot gentler and potentially a lot more enjoyable. It can be high octane, if you like, from a frequency point of view and from the rate of change and adapting to it. But it is a lot less shocking if we were required to instantaneously shift, including our physicality. All right? So that's why it's very important to be gentle with ourselves when our frequency raises and also to understand that, yes, the pain that we might feel in our physical body is also that misalignment. And we need to tend to that and nurture our physicality to help it remain flexible and to nourish it accordingly to help it with the transformation.
[00:11:05] Okay, so number three.
[00:11:07] Well, we're not only coordinating with our physical body. We have our mental body, we have our emotional body. And then we have that sort of three circle overlap and alignment with our materiality. So if you imagine the mental body is a circle, if you imagine the emotional body as a circle and your physicality is a circle, your physicality is going to be in the now, all right? So in the middle, because the physicality is present now, if it weren't, we wouldn't be here. Then you've got the mentality on the, let's say, the right hand side of the circles, all right? So that's overlapping your physicality, but that's tending towards the future. And then you've got the emotionality, which is the left side. And that is overlapping with the physicality and the mentality. But that's tending to, if we get attached, be living in the past. So you can imagine this sort of triumvirate of our expression of ourselves is then in an envelope of consciousness, all right? And the consciousness is that unity of ourselves.
[00:12:11] So you got to keep that bubble together. And that is exactly why we have a journey, so that that bubble is together. All right? So the minute we stretch outside the bubble or stretch disproportionately, like live in the past too much and then get mentally stressed about the future worrying, then we're going to cause a lot of stress and resistance in our energy field. So it's. This is another reason why we require an evolving journey and to understand how that journey is going and how fulfilling it is. Okay, so number four, right? Then why do we have a journey? Well, we are conditioned to a space time, time continuum. Now, don't get me wrong, we can think outside the cube, think outside of the parameters of space time, we can look at time as energy, but generally speaking, we do have a little bit of an attachment or a conditioned perception that we're going to do stuff today, we're going to do stuff tomorrow. We did stuff yesterday. And so we're stretching out our relationship with change in a linear way.
[00:13:24] So that's why the journey can often appear to us as taking time. All right, in some respects it does. In other respects, it's simply because we believe it takes time. But it is important, again to embrace that change. Now, my final point is instantaneous transformation. I'm not saying that it isn't possible. Many people do it. All I am saying is if you put change, transformation, sorry, change, initiation, transformation and evolution all together in the same little packet, if you will, then that's going to be a huge undertaking for your energy field. Now, some people, they do it in one of those magical rom com, right place, right moment, right people, right circumstance, type of scenario. Other people just walk into, bump into the best job or the best opportunity of their life. So I'm not saying it can't happen, but it does require a huge amount of purposeful alignment. All right, so most of us are going to have a journey.
[00:14:29] Okay, well, it's been my pleasure today to talk about why a spiritual journey is beneficial and not just a focus on the final destination.
