[00:00:03] Welcome to the making of you. I'm Alexandria, founder of YourTransformationHub.com and the Mastery Project. And today we are episode 32 of this podcast series, and it's five ways to find your truth.
[00:00:19] Okay, well, navigating Planet Truth has got increasingly interesting in the last couple of decades, and of course, the landscape since 2020 has become even more complex.
[00:00:36] So, yeah, if you've got that emoji face, you know, when you're thinking really hard, yeah, that is probably very apt in this episode. But what I want to do is I want to break it down, all right, into some simplicity nuggets so that we can just look at the fundamentals, and then you can build those back in the way that is unique and individual to you.
[00:00:58] So what's truth made up of? Well, number one, I would say it's a combination of what you feel and what you think. Now, in the past, what you feel hasn't perhaps been as important as the intellectual, the factoids, the educated facts or conditioning and logic of our mind, of our head.
[00:01:18] So what I say to people is, now I definitely believe that it's a 5050 situation, and in a lot of respects, many people would argue it's an 80, 20, I think, I. E. It's 80% heart and 20% of the mind or the head and facts. So what I will say is intellectual is very important to sketch how things could work in our physical experiences.
[00:01:46] But remember, it's just a sketch. And theories aren't really worth anything until they are tested. And one of the aspects of truth latterly in our world is there's an awful lot of theories and a lot of them haven't been tested. So I'm a strong believer. If you've got a truth, if you want to find the truth, then you need to make that combination of what you think and what you feel.
[00:02:11] So what's your truth, Dar, as I call it, effectually? Well, what you feel is, of course, the sum total of your sentience. What does that mean? Well, the sensory aspects of yourself, you could say, you know, trust your gut. You could say, say, intuition. You could say, is someone lying to me? I kind of know. You know, I feel. I sense what they're saying. They're not authentic, or they are.
[00:02:34] And also truth can sometimes be a function of what we like and what we don't like. So what I'd like to say for number one is, please remember, just because you don't like something doesn't mean to say you can't learn from it. And we can learn from everything.
[00:02:49] So if truth is going to expand, then I think the key is to make this call of a combination of what you feel and what you think.
[00:02:58] And particularly in life, if your intuition or your cosmic nudges or that inner voice keeps telling you to dig deeper, think differently or expand your vision, then please don't ignore that because it's really important to connect with some of that super sensory or hypersensory abilities that we've all got. But, but they have been sleeping somewhat because we haven't particularly been encouraged to use them. So your truth is going to be a function of what you think, what you feel, and this whole ongoing situation of what we like and what we can learn from.
[00:03:39] And I believe we can learn from anything. So just because it appears not to be something we like, doesn't mean to say it's not self loving and part of a bigger truth, which is of course we are all love, we are all connected, and we are here to find out the truth of that connection.
[00:03:59] Okay, number two, so in a very intellectual or practical sense, I always recommend to people, definitely research, look at your own personal situation and go in deep diving and checking out what your options are, what the traditional route may be, but equally what the road less traveled is. And again, listen to what you feel and search on that equally. Because we know that the evil algorithm has got a tendency to push people to drama or to load on, you know, and feed on insecurities and extremes, clickbait, all of these particular things in, you know, the Internet in general. So we are here to try and remain in our internal balance most and form. You know, first and foremost be with yourself and the information is there. But it's not about overloading yourself with the drama and crisis of our world. It's about finding out what you want to know in the best ways you can from the different directions.
[00:05:12] And then it can give you the opportunity to form a much more balanced observation and understanding of how to take and formulate your own truth.
[00:05:23] Now, balance is severely lacking in our world and it is something that is being rebuilt in the new paradigm living. But the balance point that we choose is still our choice. So I strongly recommend everyone please dial down the drama if you can and really look into the reasons and you know, answer the standard questions for yourself. Who stands to benefit from this particular perspective? Follow the money. How's it going to affect me if I choose this? What is the most self loving option? So don't be frightened to question and to question that External authority, which I think more and more people are.
[00:06:05] And maybe these conspiracy rabbit holes are more a question about genuinely wanting to be well informed.
[00:06:13] So, yep, it's going to take effort, but I think for all of us, when we're making really important decisions about where we want to go to university, for example, or a job placement or a promotion, or where we want to school our children, I think to look at multiple opinions and look from multiple directions is a very, very difficult, good place to build your truth.
[00:06:38] Okay, number three.
[00:06:40] Well, listening.
[00:06:42] And you've probably heard my other episodes about listening. I think listening is the underestimated superpower of our now. And I think if you listen to the universe, that you can very effectively find out what you need to know in any moment. Now, I know that sounds weird, but. But it is, of course, a combination of listening to yourself and listening to those around you.
[00:07:08] So the key with listening is that if you want to find out if someone is telling you the truth, then getting really immersed in what they're saying and truly listening to their resonance can really help you with establishing your own truth about things and what you believe from what they've said.
[00:07:29] So a lot of people are moving so fast in this world today that they're not actually listening. And so they're only getting snapshots of what's really occurring, almost to the point where we have a degree of time slips, like we forget what we've done. So it is important if you're going to build a comprehensive truth, that listening is part of that. And as I said, a lot of the time it's about listening to yourself. So we have been conditioned out of listening to our intuition, listening to what we truly want. And the external is always trying to sell us something, trying to get us to put our energy into things that we might find hypey, you know, stimulating, kind of dramatic, up and down. But I think the truth for us today in effective and fulfilling creativity is very much to go back to our truth and to work from that point and to nurture that and to put our energy into that, because that is the beginning of our reality. And if you want to experience a fulfilling, hopeful, uplifting and joyous reality, then, yep, you need to be discerning about where you put your energy and what truths you actually believe.
[00:08:45] Alrighty. Okay, so we're going to move now into number four.
[00:08:50] So personal reference and influencers and YouTubers.
[00:08:55] Well, yes, we've got a lot of that outside in the big wide world. And it's becoming more and more obvious. That legacy media, or whatever you want to call it, the standard news outlets are going through a massive shift, a massive transformation as people shift in the way that they are consuming factuality, the way they're consuming truth and the news.
[00:09:21] So for myself, I personally believe that everyone has got the opportunity to speak their truth, however diabolical or unloving or terrible that may appear.
[00:09:35] But there's a difference between saying and of course, acting upon it. But I do believe if you encounter truths on the Internet, for example, my advice would be please don't pollute yourself emotionally with things that you clearly don't agree with and that are clearly unself loving. Now there's a difference between people having strong opinions that you may not agree with to people expounding different actions and activities as being justified when they're not remotely humane. So I think we've always got to obviously look at the relative aspect of truth. But please don't put your energy into truths that are truly shocking and awful. And also don't get dragged in by the different subtle techniques that the external, no matter what it is, whether it's YouTube, whether it's the standard news, they do, you know, like as I said, to be ruled by the algorithm. So there can be that whole sense that you come off trying to find your truth and all you've sort of ended up doing is getting sucked into very dramatic or extreme stuff that you're actually not remotely interested in. So that comes as an option, delete, delete, delete, or choose something different or change your search and look differently. I think it is self loving now to choose the outlets and the sources that resonate with yourself and that can be a very self loving activity, but also respect of other people's opinions, like I've been saying, but it doesn't mean that they are overtaking your own.
[00:11:24] So I think the key with personal reference and influences and youtubers is to say that no one is, is perfect in our intellectual perception of perfection, I. E. They don't get it right all of the time. They aren't a perfect person. Everyone's made mistakes, they've tweeted things they wish they could take back, they've had, you know, super fabulous like waves and then they've been ignored or things haven't worked out. So the key with truth is to always say, where's the balance point? And again go back to those core questions, who stands to benefit from this? And follow the money. So it's very important as well to see deviations. And that's something I think we are seeing more and more in the last since 2020, for example, that those who perhaps would have been seen to be very strongly in one position have dashed over to another position. Now, there could be a very big reason for that, and of course that is their truth. But I think it's very insightful for a lot of us to see how big swings and how certain philosophies or certain directions in our world don't necessarily make sense. And everyone's sort of waking up to the fact that they don't.
[00:12:43] I personally always say to people, it's not one party, it's not one solution, it's not one sector of the media to blame. It's up to us to choose a truth that is loving, that is uplifting, that is hopeful, and to pour our energy into that relentlessly. And as I've said, to escape the ruthless Meanie algorithm and to be our loving natural selves and to be wise in that.
[00:13:08] And so that takes work because it takes discernment. And discernment doesn't mean denial. It doesn't mean you're not not wanting to hear the terrible so stuff. It just simply means that, you know the terrible stuff's going on, but you want to focus your energy on the fabulous stuff and be part of that community and part of the resonant, loving, helpful, making a difference and joyous way that we can all be if we can relentlessly choose it in the difficult times and the wonderful times.
[00:13:41] Okay, so number five, last point today.
[00:13:46] I often ask people when they go, I can't hear myself or I don't know what my truth is. First and foremost, as I've said, our world externally is very hyped often and very extreme. And it can over stimulate us and we end up being sort of, you know, feeling like we're just pressing buttons all the time and, and kind of someone else is running what we're doing. So I really ask that everyone, if you are in a complete sort of conniption or muddle or you feel you really can't think straight or you can't feel straight, literally step away.
[00:14:23] All right, Take a break, okay? Particularly if it's something very important, pay attention. Like I've said. Listen, if someone's trying to rush you into a decision that you're not aligned with, then take a break. Just say, I need a break. I need to consider, all right? Or I'll sleep on it. I'll take my time, okay? And be in the place where you can hear yourself by re establishing and reconnecting with your balance point.
[00:14:49] Now this can happen as well if you walk in nature if you want to as I said take a moment from your desk, walk away, go to the restroom whatever you want to do but it's a choice and it's a big choice that a lot of people wish they've made sometimes. All right there are no regrets in life. Personally I don't believe but there are ways of doing things in a self loving and easier way sometimes.
[00:15:15] So if you feel forced into things or you feel things are not as balanced as you would like then take that moment to step away and to hear your truth and that a lot of the time you will hear it very successfully because you stepped away.
[00:15:32] Okay well I hope this has been useful and I hope that you can move forward with a sense of the nourishing of a fulfilling truth and the choices that you make can contribute to some wonderful experiences moving ahead. Thank you very much.
