Welcome to the making of you. This is episode 45 and I'm Alexandria, the founder of YourTransformationHub.com and TheMasterMyProject.com and today we're going to be talking about five ways to make a success of the crossroads in your life. Now, a lot of people will say we've got a big crossroads that we can of drawn as an example in our immediate history, 2020 or the pandemic, and that we all sort of had an all stop in our lives and it was a very big global rebalancing moment. So I do feel for all of us that we can resonate or relate to everything stopping now. Everything stopping isn't necessarily bad, it isn't necessarily good, but it is definitely a state of initiation. So my first point today, number one, is when you find yourself at a life crossroads, please don't panic in that initiation state if we do arrive there. All right, initiation simply means the long sort of cycle of who we have been has come to an end. Now, the little tricky thing with initiation is all the lovingness that surrounds us, the lovingness we're made from, and our higher consciousness, everything wants us to make self loving and loving steps forward and to progress. Now, sometimes our ego, which is the limited part of ourselves that hangs out in our mind that wants to inhibit our progress and say, nah, you don't want to initiate, you don't want to change, just want to stay and basically stagnate. So sometimes initiations can creep up on us simply because we do need, shall we say, to do them without interference from overthinking or judgment or fear of failure from our ego. So yes, we've got initiations that come out of the blue. We just go, where did that? Why did that happen? We are really flawed and it's perhaps cause quite a big, big shift in our lives. And then we've got other ones that perhaps we can be honest and say there's a bit of a backstory. And yeah, we could see when we turned a corner and perhaps that corner was going to lead to greater fulfillment and a real positive leap forward, and perhaps it wasn't. So the bottom line is for all of us, please look at any life crossroads if you're facing one now in a very neutral and peaceful way, all right, look to invoke balance at all times. Now, the reason is because when we're at that delicate point, we've actually leapt. But when we leap often, particularly if it's an initiation, we can get a bit, what I call Snow blind. So it's a bit like we've got a whole fresh landscape, but it's actually covered with a lot of snow and we can't really see any points of reference. So the key is not to panic and not to go, oh my Lord, this is just so unknown and such a fresh start and a real problem. More to say, hey, I've initiated, I've arrived, I am here and I'm going to make a success of this, I'm going to be fulfilled here. And it's just being patient until literally that layer of uncertainty, that layer of I call it, that white snow has dissolved. And then you can start seeing the landmarks, start seeing the lay of the land and start moving forward. So life crossroads actually have their patient coefficient. All right? You are required often to just stand still, be still, be in balance. And that's one thing that a lot of people find very difficult to do because our ego wants us to panic. And so ego puts a huge amount of pressure on us and we've got to either justify why we're there or we've got to judge what's happening or it's a completely unknown landscape. So we are simply a little bit wary or fearful of what that means. So the key with this is be peaceful, be in self, love, and most importantly, at the crossroads, don't look outside yourself, look inside. All right, Listen to what your guidance, listen to what your inner truth, what your gut is telling you, what your sense of expansion and sense of fulfillment is trying to tell you. And sometimes we need an all stop. We need a complete shift in order to be able to listen intently or to be prompted to listen intently. So don't focus on, oh my gosh, it's all so different, I can't cope. Don't focus on a lack of fulfillment. Oh, it was so much better what I left behind. Be now, be balanced and allow that crossroads to start showing you all the beautiful options and directions in your life. Now the key for a lot of people in number two is that reactivity and sort of defensiveness and self defense and shutting self down, shutting one's heart down or going leaping into our heads is a common problem when we meet a life crossroads. Now the reason I tell people, please don't shut your heart down, Please, please, please don't. Because your heart is as I've taught at length with the heart mind alignment in my other episodes. Your heart is your central energy connection. It is your central nexus. It absolutely connects you to unlimited, infinite potential and your unique cosmic and conscious connection. So it's energizing your life, your heart. So when you close it down and go, I can't trust, don't have faith, don't believe, then you're going to be in a situation where you've got very little energy to be working with. And when you dash into your head, you're much more likely to have your ego tutoring you in past situations and perhaps potentially repeating past mistakes. All right, so now, technically, there are no mistakes, there's only experience. But what I'm saying is states of being or situations that weren't particularly fulfilling and you wouldn't like to repeat them. So the key here is to say to yourself, wow, why have I got here? What does this mean? And I know I'm sounding like a lot of these circumstances aren't particularly comfortable, but it could be that you've arrived at absolutely everything that you want and you're not comfortable with it. So just be aware that newness and complete newness and life crossroads has that quality of everything being different. So as I said, you can be in a space where you go, I'll just do the same I did last time. But as we know, that's going to give you very similar results this time, and it's not going to be an authentic shift. So the key is simply to say to self what was happening when this particular issue started to arise? So what was the momentum? What was the fuel for this initiation? Why did I change to get to this crossroads? And if you can hone in on that focus, in on that, don't judge it, don't blame yourself. You might simply say, I was really unhappy. I didn't actually like that job, or I didn't actually want to be in that relationship. So then you go, right then. So to move forward now, what quality in myself do I need? So if you weren't very fulfilled, then you can say, I want fulfillment. So that's the simple choice that you make at this point. You direct and combine with your inner voice. Inner voice might be telling you all of those reasons naturally, or they might be flowing well. But if you close down your heart, you're going to have quite a lot of problems with sourcing your. Why in this circumstance, all right, just understanding that backstory. So if you can, all right, don't close your heart, all right, you might go, yeah, I'm temporarily not prepared to give to others at the moment. I need to, you know, put my oxygen mask on first and give to myself. But I am saying that fundamentally, the world is still loving and I'm still connected to loving consciousness and I still want to make a difference. So the key for this is look at the elements that weren't supporting fulfillment, weren't supporting balance, weren't supporting self loving behavior, weren't supporting joy and fulfillment, and just simply acknowledge those, but also that you are choosing potentially all right, to recognize without judgment that those didn't work for you, they weren't of service, they didn't necessarily bring you what you wanted. Now, if you're in a great place, like you're at a crossroads going, oh my gosh, everyone wants me, you know, I've got like nine job offers, or I have, you know, the chance to go to uni when I didn't think I would, or I've got the chance to move to a new country and to explore my multilingual tasks, you know, capabilities and the tasks of a beautiful new life in a whole new country, then it is to simply say again, what were the qualities that got me here? Now, if they are qualities that you were holding on to personal truth, if it's qualities that you were committed to listening to yourself or committed to moving forward, even though what you were given was quite nice, but you wanted different or you wanted it in greater quality, then again, think about those qualities. Feel the feelings that got you where you are, all right? So it doesn't have to be a negative crossroads, all right, which I hopefully I've explained. But if it is somewhere that's really uncomfortable, then the key is to understand what you're letting go of and not let your ego march in and try and sell you same old, same old, or the fearful qualities because you've shut your heart down and you're reinforcing fear in your head. Okay, so number three. Well, if you've got to that crossroads, then of course it is after the backstory to be looking at the qualities moving forward that you want in your life now. All right, I like the particular phrase that takes the immediate sort of humanness and practicals out of the equation to liberate you to the greater vision, which is, if I had all the money in the world, all no financial worries, then what would I create and what would be the qualities to support that creative dream? So the key is to look at the qualities that you believe at this crossroads are going to be your best sort of creative arsenal moving forward. And you might recognize, gosh, I've arrived here and I've kicked into touch because it's such a fabulous place to have arrived at, because I've got So many opportunities I've kicked into touch. That sort of personal perception that I'm not good enough or that I could never have arrived here or I had to take what I was offered and I couldn't be greater. So it could be that you recognized and appreciate the journey that you've been on. It could be that you say, it was such a struggle and I really hated where I was in my life that now I've realized that I have a huge pain threshold or I have a huge conditioning that means I had to struggle in life. So for number three, align with the qualities that you know are going to really fuel you moving forward from this crossroads point, from this initiation. Forget about the past, all right? See the past kind of melting and dissolving, but know that that past is going to come back to you recycled because you've let go of it, you've understood it's no longer of service. Okie dokie. So letting go, very important. Because the one reason that us humans, alright, recreate history is because we do not choose to replace the qualities that don't work with the ones that do. Okay, so number four. Well, if you've had quite a lot of issues with one aspect in yourself, like your inability to trust yourself or trusting others instead of yourself, any particular aspect that you know has kind of come out of the overview of appreciating your whole journey to this point, please do a meditation on that because that is a recurring theme that can haunt you in the movement forward. So but when it's so obvious, all right, then that is going to be a pivot point for the rest of your life. So if you want to make this crossroads not only a crossroads in one life, but also a rebirthing into a completely new and more fulfilling life, then really scrutinize that path that you've walked. And if there's any repetitive themes, angle in because those ones are the ones that are going to be very much influencing, if you will, your choices and also preventing you potentially, if they're not self loving, from attaining, you know, and keeping refining to the best version of yourself. Alrighty, so last number today. Number five. When we initiate, when we're at that crossroads, sometimes, as I said, it's like magical because we've got the whole of our new vista where the world's our oyster. Other times it's a little bit, you know, overwhelming. All right, so balance is of course key. But the other thing is that we don't want to reach for logic or for overthinking. There's that great phrase, you know, let it breathe. All right, so when you're moving forward from that sacred initiation space and that sort of rebirth and reclamation of yourself, then just allow a bit of chaos, allow a bit of cosmic planning, allow a bit of, you might call it luck. Just recognize that a lot of these initiation processes have barely any logic, if any, all right in them. And if you try and hold on to logic or try and build it inside that beautiful chaotic momentum, then you're going to create resistance and have a bigger struggle on your hands. So allow the universe to help you. Allow other people to help you. Allow yourself to magnetize that which is of service and self loving. And if it isn't logical, don't get hung up. Just allow. Okay, it's been my great pleasure to talk about the crossroads of life today and I'm Alexandria and I look forward to hearing from you. And also for you to be joining me on episode 46. Okay, thank you very much.
