Welcome to the Making of You. I'm Alexandria, founder of the Mastery Project, and Your Transformation Hub, and this podcast is dedicated to the whys and ways to transform the mundane into the magical, doable into enjoyable, successful, and purposeful, all while becoming the architect of your own life. Okay, a couple of people have asked me to do an episode on this particular topic, and today we're going to dive in and say, what is the five ways to align with Zeitgeist? Okay. Number one, you might be asking yourself, what on earth is Zeitgeist? Well, for me, the zeitgeist is a word that's been developed and has become very relevant because it is talking all about the cultural climate, the spirit of an age, and the becoming of the transformation and evolution in our global trends, in ourselves, in our global consciousness, and generally understanding how the here and now and the time that we're living in is going to translate in our daily experience. So you might say that Leonardo da Vinci is a good example of a person who understood the Zeitgeist. And how did he do it? Well, I think we can definitely say that Leonardo aspired from very early on in his life to be a master and to be on trend or to be diving in at the very innovative point of creativity and of exploration for humanity. So one of his great embracements was of course, to look at both science and religion and to marry those two together into a spiritual mastery, a sense of his creative mastery, a sense of meaning and purpose, and also, of course, a sense of the explosion and exploration of the scientific angle and of knowledge and general application to create wisdom. So Leonardo not only was in the Zeitgeist, but in a weird way, he became it because he was the Renaissance man and one of the early proponents of Renaissance values. So who else would be considered in this as an example? Well, of course, Lady Diana Spencer. She was a Zeitgeist in a lot of ways for the movement into having a position of power and truly aligning that with a benefit to the people or being of service to the people. Now, of course, Lady Diana gets both criticized and idolized probably in equal measure. But for me, I do believe that Diana had a fresh take on her, her particular position and her inheritance being in the royal family in the uk. And what she did was she was determined to be very hands on and very connected and be a feeling figure and as we called her, the Queen of Hearts, but also that she was recognizing that it's really important for all power structures to be connected to the humanity and to be aware of the highest good of all and how society can benefit if you are prepared to be a leader and to be someone who's embracing the Zeitgeist. Alrighty, so what's my number two? Well, how are you going to achieve that first and foremost for yourself? Well, like Leonardo said, there are some who see, some who see when shown, and some who do not see. But all of his vision, he was only too aware, happened because he was prepared first and foremost to look within. And so his creative muscles, his creative vision, they were all developed and built because Leonardo spent the time literally with himself. So he would go within and he would connect to his concept of the all that is. And he would see Mother Earth as his cosmic mum, and he would see God as his cosmic father. So from very early on, Leonardo was going to be looking at his level of alignment and predominantly between his masculine and feminine energy, between his doing and being energy, and also of course, my favorite topic, his heart, mind, alignment. So in order to build his connectedness to the Zeitgeist, to be in the flow of what was unfolding, to be in the flow on that wave, then he was going to be looking and always was looking at his doing and being energy. So he would not only sit and download often in Mother Nature, he would love to be in the countryside. So he could be sketching, he could be researching, he could be looking at the farm machinery and how that was functioning for the people who were working his father's estate and of course how he could innovate that, how it could make their lives easier. He also would be looking at what was going to be a authentic advancement, so not something that was just a do over, but something that would afford an authentic shift that was going to help other people. He was not a fan of struggling Leonardo. And so he would spend many of his hours looking into how he could make the laborious aspects of of the estate easier and how he could make the lives of the tenant farmers easier. So he was looking at, hey, I've got to go within. Check out my being energy align in my heart. And as Tesla would say, he was becoming an emitter for the cosmic consciousness, for the all that is because he was choosing to align with it. So my number two is if you want to get into the Zeitgeist, if you want to get on onto the wave and in the wave and recognize that you're connected to it, then you are going to have to look at the degree to which you're aligned with your heart, with your Vision and with a degree of that connectedness coming from beingness, from your personal peace, from aligning and listening to your inner voice and your sense of immaterial unfoldment, the magic of the immaterial coming into form. So, you might not know quite how it's going to happen, but you are choosing to be in that alignment. And then you're combining that, as Leonardo did, with practical investigations, with research, with hands on connected application, in whatever you want to bring into form, and saying, yeah, if I do this, how's that going to work out in the pro, in the practical and to be productive in the sense of willing to both be successful and to fail. Because really the two are the same. They are all learning. So if you want to be in the Zeitgeist, then of course it's really important to be applying what you believe and applying that dream, that connectedness, that inner consciousness. And then you're highly likely to be also becoming a person that is aligned with the ideas or with the spirit of, of the time that you're living. Okay, so number three. Well, I think also both Lady Diana and Leonardo were very gifted when it came to their degree of sensitivity. And so they really did understand about the outside needing to be in alignment with the inside. And that if you could find your inner alignment, then you were much more likely to be sensitive, sentient, and of service to those around you. Now this is a very important part of the Zeitgeist. If you're going to be in the collective consciousness, if you're going to ride that wave, if you're going to understand the unfoldment and transformation of different trends or of different choices, collectively, globally, then you are going to need to be sensitive and you're going to need to understand in your own life, first and foremost, what kind of cycle you're in. So many people are going to find that in this unfolding era of rapid and expansive transformation, that what they feel about the cycle they're in is very significant. Because when we combine, for example, if you think you're in a cycle of rebirth, or if you think you're in a cycle of continuous creativity and persistence and honing and refining, then you're going to also be in alignment beautifully with how you're fueling what you're undergoing, and also how you're co creating, collaborating and cooperating with those around you. So it could be that you're having a period where you say, no, I need to go inside, I need to really assess what I require at this time. I need to Hear my inner vision and my messaging. And so you're not necessarily going to be out and about and talking to a lot of people because you need to distill and understand the cycle you're in. And the cycle is that sense of birth and that sense of newness. And for all of us, if we're going to understand the beginning, we need to understand it from the inside out. So my number three is it's not about controlling the all that is or the outside energy in order to make it like oneself. It is actually to understand within ourselves what we want to contribute, what we want to be of service and how that cycle is unfolding within ourselves order to align with what's happening outside. So it's not about controlling the collective consciousness, it's very much about aligning and seeing an unfoldment of the purpose, the meaning and how what we're creating is being of service. Okay, so number four. Well, I do believe if you want to get into the Zeitgeist and ride the wave relatively effortlessly, then of course you're going to need a continuous open heart and open mind. And that is quite an art in our world because we do get dragged into the external perspective and what our media tell us and what everyone else is talking about. And also we are very much in a situation with AI for example, and other technological advances and we might be questioning who's choosing what and what are actually our authentic choices. So for me, number four is to be open minded and open hearted doesn't make you gullible, it doesn't make you controlled by external opinions or by what the conditioned general vision of things is. That doesn't need to happen if you are going to be in the Zeitgeist. Part of that is honouring your individuality, honour your uniqueness. Because that's actually what consciousness is all about. Billions of individual unique souls joining together and understanding that we're all joined together and that the all that is the energy that flows through our heart center and our infinite potential is a unique experience for all of us. Yes, we can share it of course. And that's what the Zeitgeist does. It ends up taking that uniqueness and that individuality and then getting groups of that and it all becoming a certain wave or a certain trend or a certain popular viewpoint. So for me, number four is please keep your heart and mind open. But also remember, where is that choice coming from? Is that choice coming fundamentally from yourself believing, feeling, understanding and being aligned with something authentically choosing it from within? Or are you being influenced from the outside. Now, I'm not suggesting that the outside doesn't have some great information, some great perspectives or opinions or opportunities, but it's definitely to check in with yourself if you're going to be in alignment with the Zeitgeist, because you need to choose what wave, what trend, what viewpoint, what perspective is in alignment with yourself. Okay, my last one today, number five. Well, Zeitgeist, whenever it turns up in our popular discussions, it will definitely be, in a way kicking off, triggering a sense of shift, however big or however small. And I think today we are all recognizing that, of course, we're getting some very big global shifts and a lot of acceleration in the consciousness, the perspectives, the ways of learning, the technology, how people view themselves, how people view communities. So there is a big explosion in both transformation and evolution. And so that's going to mean that the Zeitgeist is going to be translating into a paradigm shift. So the old paradigm is going to become the new paradigm. This can also be shown in astrology, in the different transits of the energies of the different planets. And this pioneering call to action, call to individuality, and call to personal truth is being embodied in a lot of ways by the planet Neptune, which has now shifted out of Pisces, which you could say is kind of old paradigm, and now it's in Aries. And Aries is championing authentic individuality. So I started with Leonardo, and I'm going to finish with him. Part of his great contribution as a Renaissance man was also to say to himself that he needed to be that Renaissance man 100% and to endorse those values. Because in a way, being that he became it, he was aligning perfectly with the Zeitgeist. And for me, that's why we remember him today, because he ascended his particular perspectives and his contribution and his service to the collective consciousness. And so he was able to, as he always said, to leave his mark in the minds of men. Okay, it's been my great pleasure to talk about the Zeitgeist today. I hope it's been useful. I hope it's been of service and you've enjoyed it.
