Welcome to the Making of You. I'm Alexandria and I'm the founder of Your Transformation Hub and the YouTube channel of the same name. And this podcast is dedicated to helping you weave your way with some shortcuts through the information maze and to make wise next steps and authentic, lasting transformation.
So today we're going to dive in and the subject is five ways to Embrace Male energy.
Now, a lot of people simply misunderstand what male energy means. They equate that male energy is being a man. All right, so my number one is, doesn't matter whether you're male, female, whatever your gender, you're going to have male energy because it is a constituent part of your infinite unlimited connectedness.
So we've all got a male part, we've all got a female part.
And as a result, we can sometimes get caught up, like I said in the packaging, and think male energy equals a macho man or equals a guy who's very sensitive and kind and creative.
But in truth, what male means is the capacity to harness the following qualities.
So male energy is built on our capacity to do, yeah, get the job done, dive into action, capacity to focus our energy into results, the ability to take leadership or take command, the courage to move ahead and also to be proactive rather than passive. Male energy is also the capacity to ground, to apply and to really want to find results or to find solutions or create something that is going to come, for example, into form or be a obvious contribution to reality.
So we've all got this particular foundation of qualities.
Now, how we choose to use them entirely up to us because we've got this beautiful thing in this world called free will. And even though it doesn't look like we have sometimes, the male energy is all about us taking the initiative and choosing to say, it's my life, it's my choices and I need to take command of that flow.
So if you're a woman, then a lot of women who've got strong male energy could be perceived as borderline bossy. Why? Because of the conditioning that has been about feminine energy or ladies being much more demure or passive or a being or beautiful pedestaled energy. Now that's all to do with conditioned stereotypes in our society. It's got nothing to do with good old fashioned basic energy. All right, so just because you're a female doesn't mean that you have less male energy or less access to male energy qualities. And I think in this day and age, with incredible movements from, gosh, all centuries and different times, of course, for us, perhaps the 60s and the 70s was formative in our memories, that basically women's lib or women wanting to have equal rights was definitely a journey that has made women harness and take responsibility for their male side.
Now, if you're a guy listening to this podcast, you might go, when's it going to be about me? I'm getting that. So just because you're a guy, you don't need to be some macho stereotype or some super providing super solving male energy either. All right. As we know, stereotypes are often really extreme examples of any state of being. All right, so the male energy for a guy might appear with our social conventions to be a guy, being a guy, but it's still up to us whether we utilize those particular qualities.
Okay, so it's got nothing to do with gender. It's got everything to do with understanding states of being, doing, focus, proactive capacity to apply, getting the job done.
Now, number two, okay, we're going to ask the question now, what happens if you are a guy who understands your male energy, but you're feeling a bit lost, you're feeling a little bit disconnected, or you're feeling that perhaps on the dating scene or on the the scene of your life as it's progressing that you aren't really connecting or you're being rejected as a man or rejected in relationships? Well, this can be my second number two reason is that you're not actually realizing your male energy at all. Now, for some guys, and I've heard a lot of talk about this, young men are potentially feeling quite lost because they feel like maybe women are doing it all or being it all or have sort of cornered all of the particular energy types. So both the feminine and the masculine that the women are doing all of it.
Well, basically, relationships are not necessarily about being one energy or the other, but there is a growing commitment in many people that they want to see the other side of them themselves. So they might say, yeah, I know I'm more of a masculine person, so I'd actually like to develop my feminine energy. Or we're getting a situation where a guy is saying, actually, if I'm really honest, I'm a new age sensitive guy, or I am a feminine energy guy in the sense that my feminine energy qualities are what I feel are my go to foundation in me being me and in what I share with the rest of the world.
So if you're a guy and you're saying, I just want to be gentle, I don't want to argue, I want to be supportive, I don't Mind staying at home? I don't mind doing what was projected previously in society as traditional female roles. You know, I'm happy to cook, I'm happy to do the logistics to nurture us as a relationship, as a couple, for example.
So there are many men feeling lost simply because they're not actually acknowledging or celebrating their feminine side.
So please remember, being in your feminine energy is an asset to anyone, irrespective of your gender. And for a lot of people, they would say feminine energy is of course just as important as our masculine side. So what does feminine energy do? Well, it's going to help us be, it's going to help us realign, it's going to help us download that fantastic vision, the dreams we have. It's also fueling us in the sensitivity, the inspiration, the feeling centers, the emotional intelligence.
So a lot of people who are strong in feminine energy are very caring, they're very compassionate, they're good listeners, and they pride themselves in finding creative solutions or not compromises. But win wins, if you will, in creating relationships and in team.
So feminine energy, as we know, is just as important as masculine qualities. And a lot of it goes to be used very much in our gentle strength and in our soft power and in our ability very much to balance up everything. Because the feminine energy is about receiving unconditionally for yourself. Some people might consider it passive, but it's actually an active state of being. So you're consciously choosing to be. It's not like you go, oh, it happened to me. You are saying the energy is flowing through me and if I want to rebalance, if I've been doing a lot of doing, then it's most important that I be, because then that connects in both sides of me the masculine and the feminine energy qualities.
So if you are feeling lost, my number two is, please. If you're a guy and you're feeling lost about what it is to be a man or what it to be yourself regarding your maleness, then definitely check in with yourself and be honest. Are you more comfortable expressing or is your go to foundation creatively, your feminine side? And it is really important to acknowledge that within yourself. Don't have to tell anyone else, don't need to be judged, just acknowledge it within yourself that if that is where you feel more confident, where you feel more aligned, then there's absolutely no reason why you can't be proud about it and also see it as a great asset and part of a very strong creative and relating foundation.
Okay, so number three, well, why is there confusion with masculine and feminine in this time of amazing consciousness shift and unfoldment and technological development, all of the above transformation, evolution. Why is it a bit confusing to be a guy? Well, I personally believe that the stereotypes, those uber male and the uber feminine, the pedestal princess or the guy who has to, as I said, defend the woman, all of those particular polarities, those extreme representations are falling into the center, they're falling off their pedestal, they're falling away from the extreme. But in the interim, you might feel that there's a little bit of a relating void or a sort of no man's land while these particular stereotypes and energies get recycled.
So my number three is, it's not a confusion, it's a time of processing.
So some guys come to me and they say, yeah, I want to go on a date, love the lady, really want to do well and impress, but they basically feel a little bit overwhelmed or they feel that they don't actually know what that means anymore.
So for me, I would say if you are going to be wanting to impress someone on a date, then your key genius move is to actually communicate. And I feel that a lot of men today, it's not necessarily that their male energy or their male female energy balance is poor, it's simply that they're not communicating who they truly are.
So yes, there is some confusion as these extremes sort of people just wake up to, they don't work anymore and all of the conditioned aspects of, of our world don't work. And we're sort of rebirthing what it is to be a guy, what it is to be a girl, what it is to be balanced within ourselves. And that means there's going to be a little bit of disjointedness or a little bit of relating fog, if you will.
And for me, yes, when the relating fog comes, it means you've got to consciously choose and be comfortable with your strengths, with the qualities that you, you hold dear, with the aspects of your contribution, your creative style, your uniqueness and originality that someone can fall in love with. So channeling you is of course always the best policy, being honest. But first of all, if you're going to achieve that, to get out of confusion, you're going to need to actually say, hey, what is my foundation? Am I more a new age sensitive guy? Am I more a proactive and leadership orientated person? Am I a little bit of both? Or do I really want just to be much more the support role? Because that is where I perceive my gentle strength and my best capabilities are.
So communicate it, please. And it is important to be responsible for yourself rather than to wait passively to react or to do the right thing because the other person has initiated. So it's definitely to be in a space where you're confident with what you've decided for yourself and the combination of the qualities that you hold dear.
Number four. Well, if you don't communicate, who is going to? And I believe a lot of the relating fog and the misunderstandings at the moment are that some people think it's a bit of an all or nothing journey. So if one person dives in, then the other person just, just kind of sits there and lets them do it. So another part of our stereotypes imploding is also that people are navigating a few polarities that mean dating or relating can appear a bit all or nothing.
So what do we need to do? Well, we need to be courageous in our joy factor. And I think joyousness, generosity and being really open about what you love to do and what really lights your fire is a wonderful way to express both your male and female energy because it is joyousness. And we are currently in this particular phase going from 26 to 27. We've got Jupiter in Leo and that is all about appreciating and celebrating who we are.
So my number four is if you're feeling lost and now you've established the qualities that you think are really important, then don't hesitate to communicate them and also don't hesitate to appreciate those qualities in other people. All right? And to say, gosh, how inclusive and how wonderful it is for me to be in a relationship with someone who really holds that particular quality dear and really thinks it's worthwhile.
So just because you might be a new age sensitive guy, you might be a person who's much more into gentle strength. That doesn't mean you take responsibility for that relaxation. And I personally believe that a lot of women and I have clients who are very high rolling professionals who happen to be ladies and they're saying they would love to have a nurturing male in their midst and they would love to have someone who gives them permission to chill, to kick off those power heels and really get into being in a loving relationship and being balanced.
So guys, don't underestimate the power of beat, but you do need to take responsibility for it and celebrate it.
Okay. Number five. Well, my aspect with relating is always to say to clients, please find your own personal balance point. If you know you're a lot more on one side than the other, I'D really like you to make a promise to yourself that you are going, if you're more feminine, energy to be learning and to have the courage to embrace the masculine side. You don't have to become the complete opposite overnight, far from it, but that you are aware of those qualities and maybe aware of the resistances that you might have to embracing those qualities.
Also, if you can find that balance point and guess what, you're much more likely to meet someone who is balanced, who is in alignment at the very least with your joyousness and with your openness.
And it's of course always to honor the journey. So if you're getting out of feeling lost, if you're getting out of feeling passive in your life, just remember, yes, you can have great ideas and that is wonderful, but we do need to apply them because application and then transformation occur. Why? Because we've actually taken the time to organize authentically, go out and try different perspectives and really work to experience them, not just think about them in our heads. Or go, oh, wouldn't it be nice? Or think about it and go, well, therefore, I've thought about it. I've done it. No, the universe wants us to wisdom harvest. And we can only do that by applying and trying emphasize all those wonderful dreams and transformations.
And if we share those with the relationships around us, we're going to get brilliant feedback. All right. Some guys go, oh, get my head chewed off because of this, that and the other. And I might say to them, hey, just allow people the emotional space. But also, that doesn't mean you have to put up with being abused, discredited, ignored. But it does mean that sometimes there's of course a give and take ratio.
So nothing is going to be all plain sailing. And particularly when we're finding our own personal balance point, of course we're going to go through healing extremes in our environment and in our experience.
