Welcome to The Making of You. I'm Alexandria, founder of Your Transformation Hub and the YouTube channel of the same name. And today this podcast is dedicated to the shortcuts that get you through the information maze and haze to make wise next steps and authentic, lasting transformation. Okay, let's get into it. So, today it is five ways vision fuels your life.
Now, a lot of people might start panicking immediately. My number one, what on earth is vision? And a lot of people equate vision to basically being creative or being able to see the future or being able to anticipate trouble down the track and to deal with it. Now, all of those aspects are indeed perceptions of vision. But I want to draw it back to a very simple foundation. And I believe, vision is our capacity literally to create our dreams, bring them into reality, and to experience and download the purpose, the meaning and the fulfillment from them.
So personal vision is exactly that. It's a personal journey and no one and no two people have the same vision. They might have similar aspects that they'd like to experience, but truly our vision is unique.
So what are we going to achieve by having a vision at all? Well, I think in our day and age, with all of the data and yeah, the information age being, as I said, a bit of an information maze, then we can get to a point where we're intellectualizing everything, we're administrating life to the nth degree, and as a result, we don't really get time to be with ourselves, to balance our doing and being, and to connect in with what we truly want.
So my number one is if you do want to fuel your life, you do need to honor what your vision, what your dreams are. Because in truth, that is always going to help you with navigating whatever it may be. Whether you think you experiencing endless obstacles, whether you believe that life is going along beautifully, then your vision, if you're continuing to connect with it, then you are continuing to connect to create your reality. And so that flow of experiences is always going to be related to your conscious alignment.
So if a vision is going to be literally endless, what do you need to be connected to? You need to be connected to the endless fuel that is going to create that vision. And so you do need to use 100% of your inner resources. So what do I mean by that? Yes, you know it's coming. I want you to bring the dreams into reality effortlessly. And the more connected in the sense of the better alignment you have with your inner vision, then the easier that path is going to be.
So my number one is yes, your vision is in some respects seeing your future, but you're seeing your future because you are consciously choosing to create it. And part of that creation is birthing your dreams, spending time to hatch those beautiful next steps. But it's also partly to do with how you're going to plan it, how you're going to administrate it.
So how can you utilize energy? How can you connect in and fuel that vision? Well, number two, a lot of people will say simply they're just not creative. And I don't personally believe that. I think everyone is. We've all got this beautiful individual connection to all that is, you could call it energy, consciousness, loving consciousness, whatever you want to label it, we have our natural connection. And I call it your I am architecture. It's that ability to listen deeply within yourself to your inner authority mentor. And that is kind of like your top man or woman, your top connection that is always going to be prompting you to act for your highest good and to pay attention to that amazing juggling act between your mental emotional, physical and spiritual fulfillment. So keeping all of those juggling batons or balls in the air is going to be that element in you, your I am architecture. Now your I am architecture is in your heart center. And your heart center is that infinite portal of connectedness. So all the energy that creates your reality and creates your life, creates your vision is going to start in your heart center. So all the questions you ask, all the dream you dream, all the expansions that you really want to bring into your world are going to be energized through your heart center.
Now the mind can administrate for you. That's my definition of the mind, all right? It's your physical commitments, your lists that you write, your practical time management aspects and plans, all right? It's going to be the mind that of course grounds it in your daily life.
But if you don't have a conscious connection in your heart, then it's going to be a bit of a hit and miss situation and you're not going to have 100 use of your resources.
So, in an ideal world, I believe if you're going to constantly be aligned with your vision for your progress, prosperity, purpose and meaning, then you do need to have a strong alignment, which I call the heart mind. Alignment between your heart and your mind and the heart, remember, is connected to all dimensions of yourself. The immaterial as well as the material. And so if you're going to build a vision, if you want to be greater than you consider yourself Today, then you are going to need that fuel. Now you've got a choice. You can say, oh, I don't like that consciousness or loving consciousness. What does it really mean? It's also uncertain. It's all such a risk.
Well, guess what? We all require to work with that unlimited connection. And I always say to people, if you're concerned about that energy, then literally don't see it as uncertainty, see it as your natural connection. And it is the fuel that is going to create everything you experience, be it immaterial or material. So you can look at that uncertainty, all right, look at the vision of sort of being nebulous or not having enough form as being your friend or your foe. You can look at it as fuel or you can look at it in fearful terms. So of course I strongly encourage you to say, hey, it's just neutral energy and it's flowing through me like a big flow through a drainpipe and I need to harness that and so I'm going to need to co create with it. And the first way to build that vision is of course, to ask yourself what you truly want and to, to listen to yourself deeply within.
So what's number three? Well, what are the ways that you can listen deeply within yourself? Well, a lot of people talk about, for example, creative visualization. They like to sit in their quiet space and in a balanced alignment with heart and mind and visualize what they truly want, to magnetize what they want to create out of the immaterial and hatch it into the material experience.
I personally can definitely vouch for something called vision boards when no one called them vision boards because I was doing vision boards when I was at primary school. And so that was.
Am I going to admit this? Yeah, that was at least over 30 years ago. So what I will say is I personally believe vision boards are a beautiful step to bridging that gap between the immaterial aspect and the material aspect of your vision. Because they might be crazy images of amazing luxury, beautiful places in the world, beautiful relationships, or the superheroes or wonderful expression of the qualities that you want in your life, but they actually resonate because they are both a dream and they have that element of physicalized reality. So for me, I can definitely vouch that the vision board, when I used to make them, I used to actually go to the travel agent because I really wanted to travel the world when I was, you know, at primary school, much younger, like age sort of 8, 9, 10. And so I used to get these magazines from the travel agent and cut out all the places I thought were magical and inspirational or that I went, maybe I've been there before. That sense of connectedness or sense of inquisitive and curiosity of me wanting to be there exactly where that person was standing. So I cut out all of them and put them in a crazy collage and just said to my parents, I'm going to visit all of these places when I get older. So my mother was very supportive. She didn't roll her eyes in the back of her head. She just went, dream big, keep dreaming. And my father was perhaps a little less optimistic about me achieving it. But in my later life before he passed away, he did say to me, alexandria, you said you were going to see all those places and it happened. Your vision came to pass. So I can definitely say vision boards for me have really helped me focus my unlimited energy and to be able to visit those wonderful and life transforming places.
So in number three, you can also look at the qualities that you would like in your vision. Now I know, for example, with clients who are looking to start new relationships perhaps after a divorce or a breakup, they say I want someone kind. So of course kindness, compassion, emotional intelligence and understanding are perhaps going to be in that vision board as qualities you really want in your foundation of your experience and the vision moving forward. But also you might say I need some courage because I know I'm not necessarily the most courageous person when it comes to change. Or you might say I really want to be able to harness the best version of myself. So I'm prepared to discern, I'm prepared to go on that little inner journey of clarity and what is self loving and what is actually going to be contributing value and worthiness to my life rather than perhaps aspects that might be momentary entertainment but really not going to have any lasting qualities. Now I'm not saying joy, spontaneity aren't incredibly valuable in a vision. I think they are. Why? Because they're qualities that keep us open hearted and open minded.
Another way you can engage your vision or confirm to yourself and to the greater universe that you're committed to your vision is to meditate. Because when we meditate, of course we are in that balanced heart, mind alignment and also our heart, basically our mind be asking questions about logistics, but our heart has all the answers. And so when we are meditating, we are listening and we are connected to that. I am architecture. We're connected to understanding our unique answers even if they don't make any sense to anyone else. That doesn't matter because every vision is Unique.
So if you want to download your vision, then meditation and alignment in a quiet and harmonious place is a really conscious and very supportive and self loving way to achieve it. Now, of course, I've got other episodes about Mother Earth. I've got meditations on your transformationhub.com all dedicated to our relationship with Mother Earth and she is one of our biggest harmonious influences.
So also Mother Earth is a great way to be able to connect in with your vision.
So all of those aspects you can use to create your vision, to connect with it, and also to go deeper than perhaps a more intellectual or super superficial angle where we sit there and go, well, we should have this at this time in our lives or we should be experiencing that, or everyone else has got that, so I should have that. No, it's about listening in truly and aligning and being present for yourself and saying, yeah, what is my vision? What is truly going to be worthy? What is going to bring purpose and meaning and what's part of my unfolding path and that joyous fulfillment that everyone, all of us wants to feel. We build our vision progressively through our lives.
Okay, number four. Well, sometimes vision isn't being fueled. Why? Because we're kind of out of sync, all right? So we're stuck in our heads, sort of a bit ambushed by our limited self or our ego. It's trying to beat us up with our inner critic type of behavior, or it's attempting to massage minor problems or anxieties into taking over our complete vision, taking over everything that we think about. So in my number four, I always say to people, remember, if you're in stagnancy, if you're living in the past, if you're constantly sort of escaping into the future, then you aren't going to fuel your vision because you're either in a comfort zone trying to make it work or trying to say that it's still going on, or that you really aren't fueling your vision. Because as I said, you're escaping into the future and spilling your energy into a reality that doesn't exist.
So the key thing with having a big vision is to connect with it daily, but also to say, hey, am I being honest with myself? Am I in that space at the moment to be able to connect with clarity with what I want? Or am I actually fibbing to myself now? Of course, all you've got to do is admit that to yourself. No one else, you just need to front up, no one else is listening and just say, yeah, if I'M honest, I'm trying to find things to do so I can avoid not creating the next phase in my life or oh, it was a bit painful and I got hurt last time. So I don't really want to move forward now.
So get those excuses out fully in front of you. You can give those excuses to Mother Earth and say, can you please recycle them for me because they're holding me back and they're fueling my vision. Or you can simply do different rituals personally, burn the resistances away, for example. Or you can say things like, I am releasing the stagnancy in my energy field effortlessly. I am embracing my vision, my new steps forward effortlessly. For example. All right, so definitely number four, get a dialogue, get real, get honest about where you are. You don't have to tell anyone else, but you do need to recognize and be responsible for where you find yourself in your life.
So visions don't run out per se, but we can hit roadblocks where we perceive our life is full of obstacles rather than opportunities. Or we've got resistance and we're dragging excess baggage which is draining our energy. So we feel like our vision is kind of drying up or we don't know what to do do or we're floundering.
So we do need to keep our energy field clutter clear. All right, so we do need to be dealing with the honesty of the phase we are in.
Okay, number five, my last aspect today. So if you do want to develop your vision and you have big plans, big pictures, big horizons that you want to embrace, then my advice to you after over. Yeah, I'm going to admit it. 40 years in transformational management.
Please have a step by step plan. Yes. And please also have the faith that sometimes as we have our vision downloading and materializing and coming together in our daily reality, that it might not be in the form that we quite expected.
So we have to have faith. Why? Because the form can differ that and we also need to recognize that if the form does differ, we've got to trust and go with it because we can see that it has the resonant or the constituent parts that we originally wanted. So the qualities, for example, or the sense of personal fulfillment and challenge that we wanted. So for me, a lot of people think faith isn't important in a vision. It's a lot about do, do, do. But faith isn't as passive as people realize. It does does give that beautiful space to the universe because the universe doesn't have space time management like we do. The universe is unlimited and unending. So when we have faith, we're giving the green light to the universe to allow that energy to flow and not be clock watching. All right? Not be saying, oh, it didn't arrive in two minutes, therefore I failed or my vision isn't built, building or isn't happening. Of course it is our responsibility to check in with ourselves and build what we truly want. Choose it, back it, commit to it, take the actions in the practical to download it and to magnetize it. But faith is a very important part on the journey to experiencing the vision and seeing those beautiful dreams and big plans coming into your daily experience. Experience.
